Karton recognizes the fundamental importance of operating based on principles of honesty and integrity, committing to continuously improve business performance, competitiveness, and reputation.

We strongly reject and deem any form of corruption unacceptable. The Karton value set commits us to promoting a business environment based on honesty and transparency, and to operating with integrity and responsibility at all levels.

Karton pledges not only to comply with national laws in the countries where it operates but also to conduct its activities in accordance with internationally recognized practices and procedures. These fundamental principles, to which the Board of Directors and management are firmly committed, are emphasized in Karton's values and detailed in our Code of conduct and ethics policy.

WHISTLEBLOWING

Karton SpA, in compliance with current regulations, implements a process for receiving, analyzing, and handling reports, even anonymous ones, aimed at preventing and combating illicit or unethical behaviors.

The process complies with the legislative updates introduced by Legislative Decree no. 24 of March 10, 2023, implementing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019, concerning the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law and containing provisions regarding the protection of persons reporting violations of national legislative provisions (the so-called "Whistleblowing Decree").

For the submission and management of reports, Karton SpA has implemented a dedicated computer platform, which serves as the preferred channel for sending reports.

The following do not constitute whistleblowing reports: disputes, claims, or requests related to the personal interests of the reporter that exclusively concern their individual employment relationship or are related to their relationship with hierarchically superior figures; communications or complaints related to commercial activities or services to the public.
