Karton promotes partnerships with local High Schools and Universities
For us in Karton it is important to cultivate young talents!
Being an innovative company, we believe in innovative teaching as well: we are aware of the importance for young graduates to consolidate the knowledge acquired at school through practical experience in a company.The internships provide opportunities for professional development.
Throughout 2018-2019, the company has run several workshops with students of local schools specialising in technical, graphic and design fields, to train new professionals.
And the results didn't take long: for example, the students of the local Liceo E. Galvani specialising in Arts & Design, have successfully made design creations (photos) featuring our Cartonplast and Eplak sheets, winning prestigious Design Awards at national level.
A virtuous example on the link between skills learned in school, and roles in the workplace.
