The customer's need

Our customer is a manufacturer of plastic bottles for the cosmetics sector: the semi-finished bottles are transported from the blow moulding line to the labeling line. At the end of these processing phases, the bottles must be stored in the warehouse, ready to be filled or shipped to customers/fillers.

Our sustainable solution

The bespoke solution we designed for the customer consist of self-assembling trays for the bottles, featuring two containment sleeves to close the packaging unit and injection-moulded bottom & lid.  The whole packaging system guarantees protection and stability.

This bespoke packaging system, is produced with more than 30% of recycled material (fluted PP).

Moreover, at the end of the life cycle of this reusable packaging, Karton collects it back, recognizing an economic value to the customer.  This is our buy-back program: end-of-life packaging is transformed into re-granulated PP and ready to be extruded again into new packaging. A genuine example of circular economy.
